Call for Abstracts!

Guidelines For Submission:

Share your research in real world data and real world evidence generation at the Real-World Data Ophthalmology Summit. The Program Committee is encouraging submissions that contain novel study results leveraging various real world data sources and provide clinical insights or guidance on how to advance methods in real world data studies.

The Program Committee will select the top-scoring abstracts for presentation. Attendees whose abstracts are selected will be invited to present virtually on November 16, 2024, during the Real-World Data Ophthalmology Summit.

Submissions will be accepted until August 16, 2024, 5 pm PT. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified early September 2024.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstracts must be submitted using the online submission portal.
  • At the time of submission, the abstract must contain original data that have not been previously published or presented at another national or international meeting.
  • Abstract categories: Basic Research, Translational Research, Clinical Research, Clinical Case Report.
  • Abstract structure:
    • Scientific abstracts should include: Title, Introduction & Objective, Methods, Results, Discussion/Conclusion.
    • Title should be brief, not exceed 50 words, and not contain author names or affiliations.
    • Abstract body should not exceed 350 words.
    • Tables and figures are not permitted in the abstract submission but are encouraged to be included in the poster presentation.
    • Please acknowledge any funding sources.
